“I have taken a practical driving test before and failed within the last 2 months”
“ I have had around 35 to 40 hours driving lessons. my last lesson was within the last couple of weeks and I feel confident that I could pass the driving test.”“I have been driving without a licence for a few years and its now time to do the right thing and get my full UK driving licence. All I need is to clear a few bad habits and understand what the examiner is looking for on the test”. (We don’t judge here at treads driving school and respect that people have come to us because they want to do the right thing).
“ I have taken a practical driving test before and failed. The test was in a time period between 2 and 6 months ago.”
“ I have had 30 to 35 hours previous driving lessons. My last lesson was within the last 4 weeks.”
“I have had 40+ hours of driving lessons. My last driving lesson was between 2 and 4 months ago, but I am confident that I still remember it all.”
“I have taken a practical test before and failed. The test was in a time period of 6 to 12 month ago, but I’m confident that I could still get in a car and drive.”
“ I have had 25 to 30 hours previous driving lessons. My last lesson was within the last 4 months.”
“I have had 35+ hours of driving lessons. My last lesson was around 6 to 8 months ago but I am still confident that I could drive.”
“I have had 20 to 25 hours of driving lessons. My last lesson was within the last couple of weeks but its taking too long now so I want an intensive course to be on the roads faster.”
“I sat a driving test over a year ago and failed. I gave up and haven’t driven since then, but its now time to get back behind the wheel and get my driving licence.”
“I have had 10 to 20 hours previous driving lessons. My last lesson was within the last few weeks. I have passed my theory now and just want to be on the roads as quick as possible.”
“I have never driven before but I am super confident that I will do well at it. I am a practical learner and pick things up quickly.”
"I have never driven before. I wouldn’t class myself as being a nervous learner or an overly confident learner.”
“ I have never driven a car before and the thought of getting behind the wheel of a car scares me a little.”
If you are still unsure which course suits you best after reading these statements, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us where you will be able to have a chat with a registered driving instructor, who will be able to guide you in the right direction. You could also book a one hour driving lesson with us for an assessment where the instructor could see you drive and give you their professional opinion.
The driving courses are fully flexible, so you can take them in a week or over a few months depending on what your goals and needs are. The minimum number of hours per day for the courses is 2 hours, the maximum amount of hours that we would recommend in a day is 5 hours, the 5 hours is split up into 2x 2.5 hour lessons with a 30 minute break between them to allow for refreshments. So a typical intensive course day would run 9 til 2:30 (times can vary due to the instructors and the learners availability).
In order to complete one of the courses intensively and get it done in one week you would have to pass your theory test first, as we would need to get the practical test booked to allow us to plan your training around this. If you are planning on spreading the course out a little, then you could plan your training around the theory and the practical tests, which would give you the flexibility to work it around your own time frame and start your training right away.
